Permatex represents the very best solution to weed control. It is the original and finest polypropylene ground cover and remains the leader in quality and performance. Ground Cover Installation and Maintenance
For effective use of Permatex follow these simple instructions.

Permatex can be re-used over many seasons and can be moved from site to site. To re-use, simply remove pegs/staples, clean, re-roll and re-lay following the instructions below.

1. It is essential that all weeds are removed/destroyed prior to installation as Permatex is a weed suppressant not a weed killer.

2. Permatex is suitable for use on all types of ground - level, undulating and sloping. Make sure the surface is even and free of large or sharp stones prior to laying.

3. Simply unroll the Permatex on the prepared ground and peg or staple into position. Automated systems can be used for unrolling over large areas.

Fixing Pegs and Staples:
Black plastic pegs - 14cm,
Galvanised metal staple - 10cm x 15cm.
Both in packs of 1000

4 . Permatex rolls can be joined to maintain neatness across the site. Approved Permatex Joining Tape should be used.
Joining Tape:
Solventless, butyl, double-sided tape with high performance sealant and adhesive properties. Supplied in 45m rolls.

5 . Permatex is virtually maintenance-free. Simply brush away debris and leaves as necessary. Disinfectant (e.g. JET 5) can be applied between growing seasons to further discourage formation of mould, algae etc.
